Duration of WB Treasury Summer Internship

The Treasury Summer Internship is a full-time program for ten weeks, starting from May 26 to August 3, 2026. The internship will take place in Washington, DC.

Treasury Summer Internship Stipend and Benefits

Interns will be paid on an hourly basis:

• Non-U.S. Citizens: Receive a net pay of $21.80 per hour.
• U.S. Citizens: Receive a gross pay of $26.20 per hour.
• Each intern will receive a World Bank laptop.
• The World Bank will sponsor a Visa, if required.

Eligibility Criteria

• The internship is open to all nationals.
• Be in your third year of a four-year college or university program. If you are in a five-year program, you would be in your fourth year.
• Your major should be in finance, business, economics, or a similar field. A formal studies in finance are not required.
• You must be available to work full-time during the internship.
• Be honest in your application.
