Settlement Music School offers lessons, classes and ensembles, with financial aid available for eligible students. Families should compare the right programme, lesson length and financial-aid process before registering.

Tuition and lesson length

Settlement publishes tuition by lesson length and programme. Its current fee page lists final-three-week individual-lesson charges of $135 for 30 minutes, $202.50 for 45 minutes and $270 for one hour, subject to the school’s published terms. The relevant programme page should be used for a full current price.

Financial aid

Settlement encourages school-age students with financial need to apply for aid. The school says aid is available through completion of high school, with a separate age limit for voice students. Financial aid is not automatic: complete the required application accurately and do not commit to a payment plan until you understand the outcome.

How to get started

  1. Choose the lesson, class or ensemble that fits the student’s age and goals.
  2. Check availability, dates and current fees.
  3. Ask about instructor placement, make-up lessons and registration conditions.
  4. Submit the financial-aid application promptly if needed.

Use Settlement’s official getting-started page, tuition and fees and financial-aid information for current rules.
